Maggie R Borders

Maggie earned their B.A. in English (Creative Writing) from the University of North Texas in 2010, their M.A. in English from Kansas State University in 2012, and their Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration at Kansas State University in 2026. Before coming to KU, Maggie worked at Kansas State as an English instructor, TRIO McNair Scholars Program coordinator, and Student Access Center advisor. Their research focuses on how historically marginalized undergraduates navigate the campus environment. Maggie's educational and professional background has instilled in them a belief that listening to individual stories is essential to helping students thrive.
